Our locally legendary Carlos and Mickey’s has expanded to the East Side. The lively interior décor is a treat to the eyes and if your mom prefers a tacos and tortilla soup on her Mother’s Day lunch, Carlos and Mickeys East is a beautiful option. And don’t forget to have one of their famous margaritas!

Chicken & Waffles, need I say more? Crave is constantly reviewed as one of our yummiest local go to’s with it’s tasty breakfasts, lunch sandwiches, giant burgers, and indulgent entrees. It definitely makes our list of top ten Mother’s Day spots. Crave locations are usually small though; so reserving a head of time would be wise. Luckily for us, there are four locations! Find your most convenient location and have a lovely lunch with a casual fine dining & contemporary twist at Crave.
Another fan favorite, Pho Tre Bien is our gateway into authentic Vietnamese cuisine and an unmatched ambience, now featuring cherry blossom trees. The restaurant celebrates most holidays with live music and this Mother’s Day is no exception. There will be a special Mother’s Day menu for the day and fresh flowers for mom as well.

For a more upscale dining experience Anson 11 is a delight. The fine dining section of the restaurant is on the second floor, and would be my recommendation for anyone looking to really impress their mother this year. Steak, fish, and champagne, this is truly the most elegant choice on the list.
303 N Oregon St
Modern design and inventive style is reflected not only in the atmosphere of the restaurant but the food as well. The relaxed yet modern setting raises the expectations of the usual American grille. The wide array of menu options are all excellent, giving mom lots of choices from a selection of steaks to tacos made with home made tortillas.
